- Joyce Art Management is offering free collection management support (art insurance claim inventory spreadsheets, insurance consultations, conservation connections, etc.) to artists in need. Email info@joyceartmanagement.com to schedule or for more information.
- Los Angeles Print Shop is offering to print lost artwork for free. DM @losangelesprintshop or email contact@printshop.la.
- Still Life Studios is offering studio space, kiln access, and replacing lost work for ceramic artists in need. Email mateo@still-life-studio.com.
- Immersive Art Collective (IAC) is providing support and relief to fire victims, particularly those in the Los Angeles arts communities who were able to salvage artwork, musical instruments, or similar belongings and need a temporary place to store them at no cost. The initiative, organized by artist and IAC board member Francesca Bifulco, offers a safe and caring space open for use to those who need to figure out what the next steps are or wish to simply unwind; as well as for community mobilizers looking to find rest after dinner time. The event space is also available to those seeking to host benefit shows aimed at raising funds for fire victims. (1035 and 1039 S Olive St.)
- The Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College invites affected artists and art workers to grant writing sessions with experience grant writers for help with grant applications related to wildfire relief. The Benton can also provide a quiet space with wifi, computer access, printing, and scanning.
Supplies
- Adam Alessi is accepting and distributing donations of art supplies and equipment for artists, musicians, and creatives in need. DM @adam_alessi or email artistreliefla@gmail.com.
- Make Room LA is accepting donations for general items and art supplies. and will host a separate art. DM @makeroom.la or text the team at 213-697-9422 to coordinate.
Relief Funding
- LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund is an emergency relief fund led by a coalition of arts organizations and philanthropists for artists and arts workers in all disciplines who have lost residences, studios, or livelihoods or have otherwise been impacted by the devastating Los Angeles fires.
- Artnoir’s Jar of Love Fund is an unrestricted microgrant initiative meant to provide relief by giving creatives of color access to funds and resources typically not reserved for them in the mainstream art world. If you would like to contribute to the fund, email hello@artnoir.co.
- Other Places Art Fair’s Emergency Micro Grant for LA Artists and Art Spaces is accepting applications for $100, $150, or $200 grants for artists and art spaces in immediate need. If you would like to contribute to the fund, DM @otherplacesartfair on Instagram, email opaf.info@opaf.info, or Venmo @otherplacesartfair.
- The Adolph & Esther Gottlieb Foundation Emergency Grant provides painters, sculptors, and printmakers who are a minimum of ten years into their practice with a one-time grant of up to $15,000 in the event of an unforeseen, catastrophic event.
- Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation and New York Foundation for the Arts is an emergency grant program that provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for medical or dental emergencies for artists in financial need.
- Craft Emergency Relief Fund supports individual craft artists with $3000 emergency relief grants.
- Foundation for Contemporary Art Emergency Grants is a multi-disciplinary program that supports visual and performing artists whose work is of a contemporary, experimental nature. Grants range from $500 to $3000 in amount.
Donation Campaigns
- Grief x Hope: Help Rebuild the Lives of LA’s Artists and Art Workers is a GoFundMe created by Art World Fire Relief (artists Kathryn Andrews and Andrea Bowers, gallerists Ariel Pittman and Olivia Gauthier, and arts professional Julia V. Hendrickson) to provide immediate support for the Los Angeles art community. Their efforts include a survey assessing the most urgent needs of those affected and another survey regarding mutual aid contributions from the greater community.

- A list of over 90 artists and their families in need, mutual aid resources, and donation sites collected by Contemporary Art Review Los Angeles can be found here.
- Zorthian Ranch, an Altadena-based artist community and farm, is seeking donations to rebuild their property on GoFundMe.
- This GoFundMe is created by No Canyon Hills, a community coalition advocating against the proposed “Canyon Hills” luxury development across 300+ acres of significant ecological habitat in the Verdugo Mountains of Los Angeles.
- On February 1st, Marta Los Angeles is hosting OBJECTS for L.A., a fundraising event to support artists and communities affected by the recent Los Angeles wildfires. 100% of proceeds will be donated to Grief and Hope and Mutual Aid L.A.
General Support
- Los Angeles Public Library has compiled a list of emergency resources and information for those impacted, including resources by local and state agencies, resource and aid maps, locations for free meals, federal assistance, and information for renters. Free N95 masks are available for the public across all LAPL locations while supplies last.
- PostFire LA is a network of communal aid volunteers spearheaded by artist iO Wright facilitating expert Q&As, a user-generated resource forum, a PostFire administrative assistant program, and direct relief resources.

- Coco’s Variety is hosting Frogtown Free Store, a free shopping experience for those suffering loss and friends who are assisting them. Open to the public and current accepting donations.
