Relief Funding

• LA Arts Community Fire Relief Fund is an emergency relief fund led by a coalition of arts organizations and philanthropists for artists and arts workers in all disciplines who have lost residences, studios, or livelihoods or have otherwise been impacted by the devastating Los Angeles fires.
• Artnoir’s Jar of Love Fund is an unrestricted microgrant initiative meant to provide relief by giving creatives of color access to funds and resources typically not reserved for them in the mainstream art world. If you would like to contribute to the fund, email hello@artnoir.co.
• Other Places Art Fair’s Emergency Micro Grant for LA Artists and Art Spaces is accepting applications for $100, $150, or $200 grants for artists and art spaces in immediate need. • The Adolph & Esther Gottlieb Foundation Emergency Grant provides painters, sculptors, and printmakers who are a minimum of ten years into their practice with a one-time grant of up to $15,000 in the event of an unforeseen, catastrophic event.
• Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation and New York Foundation for the Arts is an emergency grant program that provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for medical or dental emergencies for artists in financial need.
• Craft Emergency Relief Fund supports individual craft artists with $3000 emergency relief grants.
• Foundation for Contemporary Art Emergency Grants is a multi-disciplinary program that supports visual and performing artists whose work is of a contemporary, experimental nature. Grants range from $500 to $3000 in amount.

Donation Campaigns

• Grief x Hope: Help Rebuild the Lives of LA’s Artists and Art Workers is a GoFundMe created by Art World Fire Relief (artists Kathryn Andrews and Andrea Bowers, gallerists Ariel Pittman and Olivia Gauthier, and arts professional Julia V. Hendrickson) to provide immediate support for the Los Angeles art community. Their efforts include a survey assessing the most urgent needs of those affected and another survey regarding mutual aid contributions from the greater community.
• Over 70 Los Angeles-based artists and their families are seeking support on GoFundMe can be found here.
• A list of over 90 artists and their families in need, mutual aid resources, and donation sites collected by Contemporary Art Review Los Angeles can be found here.
• Zorthian Ranch, an Altadena-based artist community and farm, is seeking donations to rebuild their property on GoFundMe.
• This GoFundMe is created by No Canyon Hills, a community coalition advocating against the proposed “Canyon Hills” luxury development across 300+ acres of significant ecological habitat in the Verdugo Mountains of Los Angeles.

General Support

• Los Angeles Public Library has compiled a list of emergency resources and information for those impacted, including resources by local and state agencies, resource and aid maps, locations for free meals, federal assistance, and information for renters. Free N95 masks are available for the public across all LAPL locations while supplies last.

• PostFire LA is a network of communal aid volunteers spearheaded by artist iO Wright facilitating expert Q&As, a user-generated resource forum, a PostFire administrative assistant program, and direct relief resources.
