In Los Angeles Art Museum Arrival, a Foreshadowing of a Departure – NY Times
New York Times, July 25, 2013 – The first report with comments from former and current MOCA staff, reporter Randy Kennedy sheds some light on the impact of three years under the directorship of Jeffery Deitch. Arguing that Deitch took excessive liberties with his leadership, a former museum official says Deitch bore the scrutiny of both financial and staff problems that worsened during his time there. A staff member, speaking anonymously stated, “The staff is completely in the dark and has been since Jeffrey arrived.”
