Judy and Stuart Spence reminisce about how they both first encountered contemporary art, and the emotional impact it had on their lives. In doing this they tell how they first came across the work of John Baldessari, and how, after a series of misunderstandings, they met him. They also talk about the impact of Allen Ruppersberg’s work on their lives, and also their relationship with Douglas Huebler.
