Yesterday morning I visited the Living Museum Art Center at the historic Harbor View House in San Pedro, California. Modeled after the Living Museum at Creedmoor’s Psychiatric Center in New York, the Living Museum strives to enhance creative expression of the mentally ill by providing a therapeutically enhanced system of studios and an opportunity to work professionally in painting, ceramics, photography, sculpture, drawing and mixed media.” Currently, the museum is showing a collection of paintings by artist H. Plople.
