MOCA Director’s Removal is Urged

MOCA’s former CEO, Charles E. Young, calls for the removal of Jeffrey Deitch. In an email leaked to the LA Times, Young urges “life trustee” (and longtime friend) Eli Broad to face the current crisis at hand.

“I hope that the four-alarm fire now enveloping MOCA has at least given you pause for thought about [Deitch’s] appointment and your continued attempts to try to save him for a job for which many (including myself) believe he is unqualified.”
