Directed by Warhol star Chuck Wein, Rainbow Bridge charts the spiritual awakening of Pat Hartley during a late-summer visit to the Rainbow Bridge Occult Meditation Center, a hip mansion commune in Maui. When Jimi Hendrix drops by to play a free concert on the slopes of Haleakala, an active volcano, Wein introduces his performance as the driving force of this ‘Rainbow Bridge’ mass meditation and sound experiment.
