Bowrain (2010) is a sculpture/sound/film installation by Steve Roden, commissioned by the Pomona College Museum of Art in Claremont California for the exhibition “Steve Roden: when words become forms” (on view Aug 31 – Dec 19, 2010). To describe the video documentation shown here, Roden writes: “The piece was inspired by a small notational drawing by Buckminster Fuller. The sculpture is made of 480 pieces of work, constructed using chance operations.
