The Eternal Telethon, organized by a group of young artists (John Burtle, Akina Cox, Chad Dilley, Ina Viola Blasius and Niko Solorio) and hosted by Machine Project, is an ongoing series of performances that uses the telethon format to raise money for the purchase of land near the Salton Sea and the construction of a retirement home for artists.
