Willoughby Sharp died in 2008. He was the publisher of Avalanche magazine, a central figure in the NY art scene and curator of many groundbreaking exhibitions. His widow, Pamela, interviewed Robert Horvitz in July 2009 – he was a longtime friend of Willoughby’s and creator of Sharpville, an online community that shared Willoughby’s last months when throat cancer made impossible for him to talk.
