Greta Grossman, Designer

Greta Magnussen Grossman (1906-1999) was a Swedish born architect and industrial designer who moved to Los Angeles in 1940. Her minimal designs were a perfect match for the modernist architecture proliferating in postwar Los Angeles, and her work was frequently showcased in Arts & Architecture magazine. Some of her work can be seen in photos taken at the first major retrospective of her work, mounted in at the Arkitekturmuseet in Stockholm in 2010.
